Research and Development facility of AGBIO, has been recognised by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, for developing various biological alternatives & control of pest, orchards, forests, lakes, rivers, urban areas, disease and weeds in Agriculture. The organization’s initial purpose was to manufacture and market Insect Pheromones with the help of overseas associates, and expand into developing pheromones for Indian pests of economic importance. We are constantly working on developing some of the eco-friendly pest control agents, which not only bring the pest population under check but also have no negative impact on the environment.
The technology has helped in advancements of pheromone use in Integrated pest management - in monitoring and pest control (by mass trapping, lure & kill). Besides, research areas include Bio Fungicides, Bio Pesticides, Bio Herbicides & Insect pheromones, and also we have successfully developed a range of pheromone lures and pheromone traps commercially for both domestic and international markets.  In the commercial aspect, our pheromone lure and traps have been well accepted by the Indian farming community through various departments of Agriculture & Horticulture. It is our responsibility to export pheromone products to quality conscious European countries and the United Kingdom. 
Throughout years, our Research & Development have concentrated on generating new technology that satisfies our customer needs, and enables us in developing the most promising products. We take great pride in saying that AGBIO has several novel products that are of biological origin, which have shown promising results in controlling the dread crop pests. All these achievements are possible with combined efforts of both our management team and employees from diverse educational backgrounds, bringing together a wealth of experience into all departments of the company.
